It is with much sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Kenneth M. Eid, 58, of Charleston, West Virginia, formerly of Auburn, on January 6, 2017.

Born in Worcester, Kenny was the son of Yvonne (Kouri) Eid and his late father, Robert G. Eid of Auburn. He graduated from Auburn High School and graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1980 with a Business and Marketing Degree. He was a manufacturing Account Executive for Saint-Gobain Manufacturing Company (formerly Norton Company) for many years. He was especially gifted with patience and understanding, respecting everyone and commanding respect from everyone who knew him.

In addition to his loving mother, Evonne, Kenny leaves his wife and best friend of more than 30 years, Katherine (Husson) Eid; 2 sons, Justin M. Eid and his fianceé, Lia Barduca, and Brian N. Eid; a daughter, Laura M. Eid, and her fiancé, Michael Securro; a sister, Valerie Eid of Worcester; a brother, David Eid and his wife, Lisa of Gorham, ME; a nephew, Drew Eid and a niece, Danielle Eid; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kenny was a former member of St. George Orthodox Cathedral in Worcester for many years before moving to Charleston. He was an active member at St. George Orthodox Cathedral in Charleston where his love and dedication for his Orthodox Faith was exemplified each and every day.

Kenny’s funeral service was held on January 12, 2017 at St. George Orthodox Cathedral in Charleston with the Rev. Fr. Christopher Eid, the Rev. Fr. Stephen DeYoung, and the Very Rev. Fr. Olof Scott officiating. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park, So Charleston.
