On Saturday, Auburn girls varsity basketball finally finished the Hoosac Holiday Tournament which was postponed back in December because of impending snow. Greenfield High School travelled to Auburn for the game and won 46-27.
The Rockets kept up the pace in the first half and were behind only 17-15 at the half. Greenfield picked up the pace in the third and left Auburn trailing 35-22. The rest of the game was no better despite the hard work of senior Colleen Cutting who scored 19 points including two 3’s.
The Rockets are now 5-5 and face 10-2 Northbridge tonight at 7:00pm. The game will be in Auburn.
