Auburn High School Art Teacher Amanda Bastien recently announced that four students were selected to exhibit at UMass Dartmouth’s Emerging Young Artists Invitational Exhibition. Olivia Obrebski, Dakota Gleason, Meg Beauregard, and Genevieve Rumrill will have their art displayed in the 170-work exhibition representing 34 Massachusetts high schools. Gleason and Beauregard were also featured on the promotional poster.

The College of Visual and Performing Arts presents the Emerging Young Artists 2017 Invitational Exhibition at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and will display the works in their Campus Gallery from January 23rd through February 11th.

In its 5th year, the exhibition showcases the exceptional merit of high school art students in the region. Participating schools were invited because of their long-term commitment to art education and the quality of work that comes from their art programs. The art teachers from these high schools were asked to select artwork in any media including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography, film, video and graphic design.

Congratulations to all the Auburn High artists for their skills and determination.
