AUBURN – Representative Paul K. Frost (R-Auburn) and Senator Michael O. Moore (D-Millbury) are coordinating with the Lorraine Gleick Nordgren Senior Center in Auburn and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) to host an E-ZPass Transponder Event. This opportunity has been created as a result of the newly implemented All Electronic Tolling system, and will allow seniors and other members of the community to transition with the state’s conversion to the tolling software.
On Tuesday, November 1st, from 10:00AM-2:00PM, MassDOT’s E-ZPass Van will be at the Auburn Senior Center, located at 4 Goddard Drive, to assist local residents with signing up on site for a free E-ZPass transponder. Applicants wishing to obtain an E-ZPass transponder must bring their vehicle registration, a photo identification, and a $20.00 credit card or check to open an E-ZPass account. MassDOT will issue the transponders for free and the $20.00 credit will be used to pay for tolls upon use on the Massachusetts Turnpike. The event is open to the public.
