The Auburn Mall is hosting its third annual Touch a Truck event at on September 17. This community event that gives families the opportunity to have fun while also giving back. The admission fee of $5 per person OR $20 maximum per family benefits The Officer Ronald Tarentino, Jr. Memorial Fund and the Simon Youth Foundation.

Truck enthusiasts of all ages are invited to Auburn Mall to get a unique and up-close look at a variety of vehicles, since toy trucks just can’t compare to the real thing. This includes:

  • Auburn Police Cruiser
  • Auburn Fire Truck
  • American Red Cross Truck
  • Auburn DPW and Water Vehicles
  • Central Mass Crane
  • Dirty Girl Disposal Dump Truck
  • Army National Guard Vehicles, including a Gaming Trailer
  • Landscaping Gear from Leone’s Landscaping and John Nicolazzo & Sons Landscaping
  • Demolition Vehicles from Botany Bay Construction

More features of this kid-friendly community event will include a special appearance from Worcester Bravehearts Mascot Jake the Lion from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m., martial arts demos from America’s Best Defense Shrewsbury, and a chance to win a Travis Shaw autographed photo, donated by the Boston Red Sox.
