Worcester, MA – Hair Cuttery on 1135 Grafton Street in Worcester will remember Auburn Police Officer Ronald Tarentino Jr. by hosting a cut-a-thon on Sunday, June 26th from 6:00 – 8:00pm to benefit The Officer Ronald Tarentino Jr. Memorial Fund.

All haircuts will be $10.00 with 100% of the proceeds going towards the Fund.

“This has been such a sad event for the community,” said Nicole Rosenlund, salon leader for the Worcester Hair Cuttery. “Officer Tarentino was a hero and we feel it’s important to do something to honor his memory,” said Rosenlund. “Hosting a cut-a-thon to raise money for The Officer Ronald Tarentino Jr. Memorial Fund is our way of thanking him for his service and his sacrifice.”

On May 22nd, Officer Tarentino was shot and killed while conducting a traffic stop. His is survived by his wife and three children. The money raised for the memorial fund will help support his family.

Hair Cuttery has an established history of charitable giving, supporting a range of local and national causes, including St. Baldrick’s Foundation, American Red Cross, The National Network to End Domestic Violence, American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Girls on the Run.
