More than 50 businesses from many industries, including healthcare, retail, and finance will exhibit their products and services at the Ninth Annual Health & Business Expo presented by the Auburn Chamber of Commerce.
The event will be held at the Auburn/Webster Lodge of Elks on Tuesday, March 22, from 4 – 7 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
“Each year the there’s an increase in the number of community people coming through, and we’d like to see even more people coming in this year,” said Carrie Cross, president of the Auburn Chamber Board of Directors, and chairperson of the event.
Carrie noted that the Expo offers a unique opportunity to check out health care providers and local businesses, obtain free screenings and analyses, and take home free samples and prizes. “People in Auburn like it because they can get there easily, without having to go to Worcester.”
A cash bar will be open during the event and complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The Health & Business Expo is sponsored by Harvard Pilgrim HealthCare and Hometown Bank.
The Auburn/Webster Lodge of Elks is at 754 Southbridge Street, Auburn. While attendance is free, registration is requested in order to obtain a count for refreshments.
