It is estimated that as many as 43% of Americans have used or are currently using some form of complementary or alternative therapy such as acupuncture. In recognition of this fact Kelly Murphy Acupuncture is offering free ½ hour sessions to new clients.
Acupuncture is a method of encouraging the body to promote natural healing and to improve functioning. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the World Health Organization (WHO) recognize acupuncture as effective in treating a wide variety of medical problems such as: anxiety, arthritis, asthma, chronic fatigue, constipation, depression, digestive conditions, insomnia, fertility, fibromyalgia, headache, migraines, pain, PMS, sciatica, stress and more.
Kelly Murphy is licensed as an Acupuncturist by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine. She is a Nationally Certified Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She has been working with people for 10 years in Sturbridge, MA at The Body Wellness Center and expanding her services to Auburn. During the initial consultation and treatment, she will discuss eating habits, exercise, stretching and mindfulness.
