She was kept scoreless last night as Colleen Cutting covered her one on one. Jianna Baroni scored with 16:30 left in the second half and with Lauren Ferris assisting. At 11:45, Baroni scored again off a great assist by Jordyn Abasciano. A penalty kick made the game 2-1 with 6 minutes left, but the Rockets kept the Woolies tamed for the remainder.
Visiting D-1 Wachusett scored first in the second half during Wednesday’s contest, but the Rockets tied it up minutes later. Jess Clifford had the goal, and Jordan Lavallee got the assist. The game ended in a 1-1 tie. Auburn is now 9-2-1 on the season.
