He is survived by his loving wife Catherine A. (Levia) Stone, their daughter Tara Lucier and her husband Jay of Auburn, two grandchildren; Morganne and Camden, a sister Barbara Braley of Paxton, his mother-in-law Patricia Levia of Haines City FL, and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Rich was born in Worcester. He was the son of the late George W. and Sally (Nowosacki) Stone. A proud veteran; Rich served his country in the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Navy.
Richard worked as a fork truck operator for New England Grocers as a member of the Teamsters Union Local 170 for 25 years. He later worked as electronics technician for American Superconductor.
Rich was a motorcycle enthusiast, and longtime member of Chapter 291 “Star Touring & Riding” motorcycle club, and a sportsman, who loved to work on cars and trucks. He was a charter member of the Murphy Post VFW.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visiting hour from 12-1PM Saturday May 10, 2014 with a funeral service to follow at 1 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St. Auburn. Burial will be held privately.
