(BOSTON) – The Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security will be conducting an oversight hearing on the Auditor’s report on the Sex Offender Registry Board.  The Oversight Hearing is being conducted to gain more insight into possible issues surrounding the classification of sex offenders and to seek guidance on what, if any, legislative solutions are necessary.  The hearing will be open to the public; however, testimony will be strictly limited to invited parties only.  The Joint Committee will be strictly adhering to maximum capacity rules.
