Auburn’s annual Homecoming and Fall Festival weekend is scheduled for Friday, September 22-Sunday, September 24 with a full calendar of games and activities for all.

On Friday, September 22, the Auburn Rockets boys’ varsity golf team will take on St. Peter Marian at Pakachoag Golf Course starting at 3:30pm. Later in the evening, the football team will square off against North Middlesex at 7pm on Memorial Field in AHS’s annual homecoming game.

After the game, there will be an ice cream social and music at the high school.  All are welcome.

On Saturday, Homecoming weekend continues with a full slate of high school games and the annual Fall Festival festivities. All games (except Cross Country) will take place on the all purpose field (field hockey) or Memorial Field.

11:00am – Girls JV Soccer (Memorial)
12:00pm – JV Field Hockey (All Purpose)
1:00pm – Boys Varsity Soccer (Memorial)

3:00pm – Girls Varsity Soccer (Memorial)

Along the front of the high school and inside the building, the Fall Festival is back for its 11th year. From 9am to 4pm, there will be games, crafts, food, vendors, train rides and pumpkin decorating for visitors of all ages. Admission to the Fall Festival is free; there may be a charge for certain events and activities.

According to Auburn Director of Recreation and Culture, Kristen Pappas, there is still plenty of room for vendors who may want to have a table at Fall Festival.  There is a $25 fee for a 10×10 display space. On Sunday, September 24, there will be a pancake breakfast at Auburn High School from 8am to 10am in the AHS cafeteria, as well as guided tours of the Auburn High School. Tickets are $5 adults and $3 kids under 8. Tickets can be purchased at auburn.k12.ma.us, or at the door.
