With the weather finally promising some summer-like weather, it’s time to kick off the 2017 Summer in the Park Concert Series at the Pappas Recreation Complex.
This year – the fifth year of the popular outoor concerts – sees the return of several of the popular bands from previous years in addition to some exciting new sounds for 2017.
Tonight’s performance will be the Greater Auburn Community Chorus, an ensemble of local singers directed by the legendary Charles Pietrello. The concert will actually begin at 6:30pm this week, according to the Chorus.
Future concerts are scheduled to begin at 6pm every Thursday. Rain dates are the following Tuesday at 6pm.

August 17 – The Ed Sullivans (60s and 70s)
August 24 – Tequila Bonfire (country)
August 31 – Promise is Home
Concerts are held at the Riley-Pappas Pavilion at the Pappas Recreation Complex, 203A Pakachoag St., Auburn. Admission is free, bring a blanket, bring chairs, bring food (bring extra to share!).
