The Chester P. Tuttle American Legion Post 279 has announced the schedule of Memorial Day-related events. On Sunday, May 21, there will be ceremonies at the 12 monuments to the fallen located around Auburn.  Wreaths will be placed, and Taps played at each site beginning at 9:00am.  Please see the flyer below for a complete schedule and timing.

On Memorial Day, Monday May 29, the day will kick off with a church service at 8:30am at North American Martyrs Church. The annual parade will step off from the staging area at Bryn Mawr Ave. and Rockland Road at 10:00am.  The parade will proceed through the center of Town and up Auburn and Central Streets to Hillside Cemetery. A ceremony remembering those lost serving their country and community will be held at Hillside beginning at approximately 11:00am. The events conclude at 1pm, when the Legion will raise the flag at the Tuttle Post, 88 Bancroft St. A full listing of the divisions and order of march can be found in the brochure below.
