The Town of Auburn will hold its annual Independence Day festivities at Pappas Recreation Complex on Thursday, June 29, beginning at 5:00pm. The rain date is June 30.

There will be a grand entrance by the American Legion Tuttle Post and Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 554 at 6:45pm, followed by some opening remarks.

The Outriggers will perform at the Riley-Pappas Pavilion beginning at 7pm, up to the start of the fireworks at approximately 9:30pm.

There will be food, games, rides and activities along the roadway which will again be converted to a midway for this event. The road will be closed to vehicle traffic.

Parking will be available at Pakachoag School, Senior Center, and the Auburn Mall, and WRTA will be providing free shuttle service to and from Pappas. Sorry, no pets are allowed at the event; service dogs only.
