Eugene was born in Worcester, son of the late Henri and Hilda (Trudel) Gosselin. He served his country proudly with the United States Army.
Gene had worked most of his life as a truck driver for Local # 170. He loved to make people laugh. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also, in his spare time you could find Gene working on anything that had an engine.
He leaves his wife of 66 years, Therese (Arsenault) Gosselin; four children, Dianne Griffis, John Gosselin, Marie McArdle, and Janet Polaski; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; a brother, Alfred Gosselin; four sisters, Sr. Therese Gosselin and Sr. Constance Gosselin, Madeline Mansfield, and Marcelle Trackerman. He was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Francis Gosselin and two sisters, Jeanne Bonin and Irene Robichaud.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass celebrating Eugene’s life on Friday April 7, 2017 at 11 am in North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn, MA. Burial will be private in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. Memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans, (dav.org/donate).
