The annual History Day competition for the Central/West Massachusetts area will be held on Saturday, March 4th at the Oakham Center School in Oakham from 9 to 1.

The theme for this year’s competition is “Taking A Stand In History”.  The Central Mass Council for Social Studies will be hosting the event for the 36th year. Schools from the Springfield and Holyoke area to Bedford will be vying for the opportunity to represent the Central/West region in the State History Day event held in April.
