Brenda E. (Gilbeau) Maloney, 76, died Monday December 5, 2016 in UMass Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

She leaves her husband of 51 years, Paul Maloney, a son David P. Maloney and his wife Toniah of West Brookfield, a daughter Beth Ellen Lamontagne and her husband John of Auburn, three beautiful granddaughters; Devon Lee Maloney, Sydney Ellen Lamontagne and Alyse Holly Lamontagne and many nieces and nephews.

Brenda was born in Worcester, daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth (Cashman) Gilbeau. She graduated from Commerce High School and Salters Secretarial School. She worked at New England Power in Westboro for several years before raising her family. When her children were older she then worked at Future Electronics in Bolton for many years before retiring. She cherished spending time with her granddaughters, attending their dance recitals, soccer games and horse shows. She enjoyed trips to Wells Beach, Maine, family dinners and shopping for special occasions.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Brenda’s family on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 9:30-10:30 AM at BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. A funeral Mass celebration will follow in North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
