BOSTON –The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) is reminding customers with vehicle registrations expiring in November and December to renew online at www.MassRMV.com. Customers will find new website improvements that offer a simple, efficient online renewal transaction. The majority of these expiring registrations are commercial and vanity plates.

“With over 450,000 registrations expiring over the next two months, the RMV knows how important it is to provide customers with as many convenient renewal options as possible,” said Registrar Erin Deveney. “Customers who renew their registrations online at MassRMV.com will see that our website allows customers to renew at their convenience from their smart-phone, laptop or tablet.”

Registrations can be renewed up to six months in advance, and customers do not need to wait for a renewal application to renew online. In addition, customers that skip the line and go online may use the “myRMV” feature to access their RMV record and renew their vehicle registration.

The RMV has been working to enhance its online customer experience by focusing on delivering mobile-friendly technology, while providing better service options preferred by customers.

Customers are encouraged to visit www.MassRMV.com to process over 25 transactions, access checklists to “Get Ready to Go,” and sign-up to receive RMV News. For the latest Registry updates and information, follow the RMV on Twitter @MassRMV.
