Marjorie (Hague) “Margie” Witt, 84, of Auburn died Monday November 14, 2016 in the Life Care Center of Auburn.
She was born in Worcester daughter of the late Gustaf and Agnes (Venson) Hague. Margie graduated from Auburn High School in 1950.
Margie had been the secretary to the Vice President of Student Affairs at Worcester State College for several years before retiring. She enjoyed quality time with her family and spent many hours gardening in her beautiful home gardens.
Her husband of 36 years, John A. Witt died in 2008. She leaves her two sons, Stephen E. Witt of Auburn and John R. Witt of Shrewsbury; two grandchildren, Katie K. Witt of Shrewsbury and Aaron M. Witt and his mother, Theresa Dick both of Auburn. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Christine D. Witt; a brother, Gustaf Hague; and a sister, Dorothy Warner.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Marjorie’s family on Friday November 18, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 am in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. A service of remembrance will follow at 11:00am. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Worcester.
