At last Wednesday’s SWCL meet, Auburn Middle Schoolers won first individually while the boys won first as a team and the girls were third. Grade 8 runner Zach LaPointe claimed first with a time of 6:00.9. Joshua Anderson was second and only 3/100’s behind. Cullen Parent was fifth, Drew Lemansky ran seventh, and Bryan Cavanaugh was 11th in a field of 113 runners.

The boys had a team score of 26 for first place, and the next finisher was McCloskey Middle School with a score of 40. Tantasqua won the girls division with 37 points while McCloskey was second at 39. The Rockets had 46 to place them in the third spot.

Amongst the 88 harriers, AMS 7th grader Caroline Messina was first with a time of 6:24.6. Rachel Ullstrom ran fifth, Lily-Ann C’Miel was 12th, and Leah Wentworth ran 13th.

Congratulations to both teams and all the runners. It has been a great season.
