Monday was a great day for Auburn Athletics, but not for Quaboag. The Rockets had 3 wins and 1 tie at home while boys golf beat the Cougars away, 174-197, after Ryan Henderson shot a 6-over par 41.

JV field hockey recorded a 3-0 victory while the varsity squad tied at 1-1.
Shea Jarvis got Auburn’s only score against the SWCL B leading Cougars. This matchup is generally contentious, but the Rockets’ numbers still have them first in SWCL.

Varsity played one of their best games of the year and kept the Cougars contained and scoreless earning goalie Donald Ganley a shutout.

In the 11th minute, Will Sjogren scored with an assist by Alex Surmis. It took the Rockets nearly 20 minutes to score again, but then Riley Beauregard made two scores in a minute’s time. The first assist was by Matthew Russell, and the second was from Sjogren. They got their 4th win of the season by a score of 3-0.

Boys JV soccer held on to a 1-0 lead for most of the game and ended with that score.
