Kevin W. Osborne, age 66 of Auburn, MA passed away at his home Tuesday, September 6, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Patricia A. (Bobo) Osborne for 41 years. He was the son of the late Myron and Harriet (Ludlow) Osborne. Kevin was born and raised in Marshfield and spent many years in Plymouth while raising his family.
Kevin was a 1967 Graduate of Marshfield High School and graduated from Cape Cod Community College in 1969. After college Kevin enlisted in the Army and served in the Vietnam War and later became a member of American Legion Post 40 of Plymouth. He retired from the South Shore Hospital as a Radiology Computer Systems Manager after 37 years. Kevin enjoyed skiing, carpentry, and golf and spent many years involved with the Boy Scouts with his son as a Leader of Troop 9 in Plymouth. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and was very proud of his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his loving wife, he leaves a daughter, Kimberly Staley and her husband John of Auburn with whom he recently made his home; a son, Joseph Osborne, and two grandchildren, Nora and Colin. He also leaves his sister Carolen Orndoff of Westford, Kenneth Osborne and his wife Lee of Whitman, and Myron Osborne of Marshfield and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield. Burial will be private.
