Sturbridge, MA – Woman in Business, Inc. (WIB), a 501c(3) that supports women by fostering networking, sharing information and experiences, and providing educational opportunities, has teamed up with The Dudley-Charlton Education Foundation to raise money for both organizations by offering tethered hot air balloon rides on the RE/MAX balloon during Charlton Old Home Day, Monday, September 5, 9am-11am, on Burlingame Field in Charlton. The cost is a $10 donation per rider.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used by WIB to support its work building community among local businesses and women professionals, and by the Dudley-Charlton Education Foundation to support students and fund programs throughout the district.
The event is weather dependent. To confirm day of event please check the Charlton Old Home Day Facebook page. All participants must sign a waiver. Those under 18 must have a slip signed by a parent or guardian.
Woman in Business, Inc. (WIB) represents primarily women in the workforce in the south central MA area, women (and men) are welcome to join the organization, regardless of their employment status or residence.
