LANCASTER – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has announced that Route 2 eastbound will close in Lancaster on Monday, August 15 at 8 pm to allow its contractor to continue work on the Jackson Road Bridge project.
The road will reopen by 5 am on Tuesday, August 16.
The closure will let contractors conduct a crane operation on the roadway.
Drivers will be detoured around the area and through Devens.
On Tuesday, August 16, MassDOT will close the westbound side of the roadway between 8 pm and 5 am for an additional crane operation. Drivers will be detoured around the area and through Devens.
