The 2016 Summer in the Park Concert Series at Pappas Recreation Complex kicks off tonight at 6pm.

Tonight’s performance features the Greater Auburn Community Chorus, a group that has kicked off every season since 2013.  The Greater Auburn Community Chorus is a 60 member, multi-generational chorus based in Auburn, MA and directedd by longtime Auburn Schools music director, Charlie Pietrello.

Concerts are scheduled to begin at 6pm every Thursday. Rain dates are the following Tuesday at 6pm. The full season schedule is:

June 9 – Greater Auburn Community Chorus
June 16 – Redline (country)
June 23 – Tequila Bonfire (country)
June 30 – Pirates for Peace (classic rock)
July 7 – The Ed Sullivans (60s and 70s)
July 14 –  Throwback to the 60s (you guessed it, 60s hits)
July 21 – Robert Black (Elvis Presley Tribute)
July 28 – Auburn Community Players – Shakespeare in the Park
August 4 – Red Light (classic rock)
August 11 – Outriggers (classic rock)
August 18 – 4 Ever Fab (Beatles tribute)
August 25 – On the Rocks (Classic Rock)
Sept 1 – Boom Box (70s, 80s and 90s)

Concerts are held at the Riley-Pappas Pavilion at the Pappas Recreation Complex, 203A Pakachoag St., Auburn. Admission is free, bring a blanket, bring chairs, bring food (bring extra to share!).
