On Monday, June 13th, the Publick House in Sturbridge will be serving up an all-you-can-eat classic barbeque that will benefit Auburn Youth and Family Services along with a Boy Scout troop out of Ware. Diners can feast on pulled pork, baked beans, barbeque chicken, cornbread, and watermelon. Coffee, tea, soft drinks and ice water are also included.
Organizer Christine Benvenuti says AYFS has spent two years on a waiting list for this very popular fundraiser, and she hopes residents will make the short drive for a good meal at a good price for a good cause. The first seating is at 4:30pm and the second is at 6:30pm.
Tickets are $14.00 for adults and $5.00 for children with $2.00 from each meal going to each organization. It is suggested that tickets be purchased in advance by calling Christine Benvenuti at 508-755-8548, but they can also be purchased at the door.
