A cold, rainy morning likely kept some runners at home on Sunday when the Auburn Police Association held their Fifth Annual 5K Walk/Run. 125 people, however, did participate in the race that benefits the APA’s Scholarship Fund.

At the starting line, JOE WALSH,16, (#76) and SCOTT LEBOEUF,17, (#4) stood side-by-side, but after the horn blew, the separation started. WALSH finished with a time of 17:47 making him the race winner, and LEBOEUF had a time of 19:48, which made him the winner of the Male 13-19 division. CHRISTINE NELSON, 37, won the female division with a time of 24:35. RaceWire, which timed the race, reports runners’ names in all capital letters. Rather than guess, their system will be quoted here.
