CONCORD – Leila May Lord Kemp, 95, of Concord, New Hampshire, died peacefully in the company of her two sons on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Havenwood Heritage Heights Retirement Community in East Concord. Interment will be at Homeland Cemetery in Bristol on Sunday, May 22.

Born in North Alexandria, New Hampshire, on November 20, 1920, May was the daughter of Edward O. and Agnes Lord (nee Ballou), and sister to eight siblings. She graduated from Bristol High School and Salter Secretarial School in Worcester, MA. She worked for many years in various administrative positions for the Town of Auburn, MA, including the Town Board of Health.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Arthur B. Kemp. She is survived by two sons, Edward (Trish) and Bruce (Lisa), one sister, Erma Lord of Laconia, one brother, Murray Lord of Bristol, three grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
