Five Auburn students were selected to exhibit in UMASS Dartmouth’s Emerging Young Artists Exhibit.  Olivia Obrebski, Dakota Gleason, Samantha Paradis, Alexis Wilson, and Anisa Sherzai each had works chosen for the exhibition.

The Emerging Young Artists 2016 Invitational Exhibition recognizes the exceptional merit of high school art students from thirty-four high school art programs in Massachusetts. The participating schools were invited to be part of the exhibition for the long-term commitment they have demonstrated to art education and for the quality of work that comes from their art programs. The art teachers from these high schools were asked to select artwork in any media (drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, film, video, printmaking, graphic design etc.) from their best students to be included in this group exhibition.

A reception was held on Saturday, February 6th at the CVPA Campus Gallery at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
