Can a Palestinian Muslim and a Jewish American find a common bond through music? ‘The Pursuit of Harmony’ is the story of their improbable friendship.

Alaa Alshaham, a Palestinian Songwriter and Michael Hunter Ochs, a celebrated Jewish American songwriter, have put their talents together in presenting “the Pursuit of Harmony”. The Pursuit of Harmony, a musical expression of Hope for Peace throughout the Middle East is truly an exciting display of courage and musical talent. Their music, presented in Arabic, Hebrew and English shows that respect and understanding between people of different races, ethnicities and religious followings can get along with each other living in peace. The personal stories, stunning photographs and exclusive video accompanying the music promises to sweep you into this incredible experience.

Alaa and Michael have performed across the Middle East, other countries of the world, as well as at the United Nations, bringing their message to all people. They sang with Martin Luther King and continue to carry his banner that respect and understanding between people does work for peace. Their language is music. Their message is hope. You will be moved.
