At last Wednesday’s dual meet at Tantasqua, both the boys and girls made a solid showing. The girls recorded 3 wins while the boys had 2 wins and a loss. The girls remain undefeated at 11-0 (10-0 SWCL), and the boys are 7-3 (6-3 SWCL).

The boys defeated Uxbridge and Woodstock Academy, but fell to Bartlett. Dean Lemansky took first in the high jump with a height of 5’7”.

The girls beat Uxbridge, Woodstock Academy and Bartlett. Megan Gurlitz won the 300 meter race, and the Auburn team was first in the 4×400 meter relay race.

Coach Karyn Ferdella told Auburn Mass Daily that the primary reason for the team’s success is the fact that they have a strong athlete in every event, and, sometimes, they have two or three strong girls competing. The test for this team will be tomorrow night when they face #1 Grafton in Northbridge.
