Donald R. “Donnie” Scott, 63, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at UMass Medical Center- University Campus surrounded by family. He leaves his wife of 35 years, Bernadette (Pelletier) Scott, his three children, Kristina Scott, Michael Scott, Christopher Scott and his wife, Lakshmi Krupa, a grandson, Shiva; he also leaves his sisters, Barbara Cammuso and Winifred Shea; brothers, George Scott, Paul Scott and his wife, Kathy, and Joe Scott and his wife, Bonnie along with many nieces and nephews and friends.
Donnie was born in Worcester and raised in Auburn, the son of the late George and Winifred (Early) Scott. He graduated from Auburn High School in 1971 and later from Westfield State.
He worked at the former Norton Company, now known as Saint-Gobain in Worcester for the last 25 years.
Don loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, going to the gym, and being around loved ones. He always saw the best in everybody.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Don’s family on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 5-8 PM in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. His funeral will be from the funeral home on Thursday January 21, 2016 with a funeral Mass at 11 AM in North American Martyr’s church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn.
