WYO_Holiday 12_19_15The Worcester Youth Orchestras present their “Annual Family Holiday Concert” to celebrate the festive season.  This year’s concert is generously sponsored by Fuller’s Automotive of Auburn, with additional support from the Auburn Public School Committee.

The concert will feature the Worcester Youth Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Jonathan Brennand playing excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, William Tell Overture and Holcombe’s Festive Sounds of Hannukah with the Worcester Children’s Chorus.  The concert will also feature cello soloist and Auburn native Renae Renihan playing Faure’s “Elegy for Cello & Orchestra”.  Renae is a senior in WYO and a student of Elizabeth Bronstein’s at Pakachoag Music School.

The concert is fun for the whole family and is sure to get you singing along to some of your favorite carols and songs. Please join them on Saturday, December 19th at 7:00pm at the Pappas Auditorium, Auburn High School, 99 Auburn St, Auburn.  The concert is presented free with a suggested donation of $15 – $20.

In the spirit of the holiday season, WYO will be giving half of the door donations to Auburn Youth & Family Services to support their outstanding work in the community.
