A newly formed outreach group – Auburn Youth Sports Booster Club – is holding a free roller skating party on December 8 at Skylite Roller Skating.  According to one of the AYSBC founders, Raffi Vartabedian, “That day is a half day for Auburn Public School students, so this is a great way to spend the afternoon while keeping the kids active.”

Vartabedian said, “This is a new organization in town that is meant to bring all the youth organizations in town together.  The idea is to promote an active lifestyle for the youth of Auburn through the various sports groups in town.”

As a way to kick off the start of this new group, AYSBC is hosting a Free rollerskating event at Skylite Rollerskating, 648 Park Avenue, Worcester, on Tuesday, December 8 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM.

Auburn Little League president, Dena Daoust added, “We are hoping to increase communication between the leagues and further develop programs and activities that benefits all the kids in Auburn. Possible ideas we want to work on are equipment swaps, a multi-league opening day parade, etc.”
