The Auburn Democratic Town Committee is seeking new members and associate members. Members of the Committee represent the Democratic Party at the local neighborhood level, promote the objectives of the Party and work for the nomination and election of Democrats.
The committee is sponsoring an informational booth at the Fall Festival being held at Auburn High School on Saturday October 10th from 9 am – 3 pm. Democrats and unenrolled voters are urged to stop by. In honor of the 50th year for the Voting Rights Act, we will have voter registration forms for all.
“Being on the Auburn Democratic Town Committee is a great way to meet people who share your interests and passions,” noted Tricia Joyce, Chairperson of the Committee. “We have fun working together towards our common goals. We’re looking forward to the opportunity to meet with area Democrats.”
“We’re always looking for interested Democrats,” continued Joyce. “Generally people serve as associate members for a time, before becoming full members.”
Through the ADTC, people can become involved in the campaigns of Democrats either locally or nationally. The committee normally meets on the third Wednesday of the month at the Auburn Senior Center, 4 Goddard Drive.
