When students begin the school year next Tuesday, there will be numerous new faces across the district, 34 to be exact. All positions have been filled except for an LPN at the Swanson Road Intermediate School (SWIS). At Wednesday’s School Committee meeting, 15 of the new hires were introduced.

The new hires are: Adam Rundell, AHS Math; Nicole Mendicino, Bryn Mawr (BM) Kindergarten; Erika Lundy, SWIS Grade 5; Cecelia Wirzbicki, School Business Manager; Charity Wong Kam, BM Special Needs; Jennifer Stanick, Pakachoag (PAK) Principal; Kara Mullaney-Deans, PAK Reading; Julie Benoit, AMS Reading; Briana Garside, AMS Reading; Rachel Loew, AMS Team Chair; Katelyn Brunelle, SWIS Grade 4; Megan Berg, PAK Guidance Counselor; Michael Lavelle, SWIS Assistant Principal; and Lance Morin, AHS Science/STEM.

Existing employees with new positions are: Rosemary Reidy, Director of Pupil Services; Deb Kozik, BM Grade 2; Susan DeGaetano, AMS Grade 6 ELA; Stephen Juneau, AMS Grade 8 Math; Jessica DeStefano, BM Grade 1; Shelley Moylan, BM Grade 2; Alicia LaPomardo, Elem. Psychologist; Brittney Abderrazzaq, AHS Special Needs; Maribeth Tankinow, AMS Grade 6 ELA; Jennifer Conlan, AMS Grade 8 ELA; Kim Norris, AMS Guidance Counselor; Kristen Sandberg, BM Kindergarten; Dawn Fenuccio, BM Reading; Ali Morrissey, SWIS Reading; Sarah Connell, SWIS Media/Technology; Sarah Paquette, AHS Social Studies, and Emily Para, AHS Biology.

Additionally, Dottie Vaillancourt has returned as a Nurse at AHS, and Gloria Rivera will teach Spanish at AMS. She was a long-term substitute last school year.
