Minoo Naegamvala, 88, of Auburn, died Friday, June 26, 2015 in UMASS Memorial-University Campus after an illness.

His wife, Ghavae (Mavalwalla) Naegamvala died in 2006. He leaves his son, Xerses Naegamvala and his wife, Catherine of Auburn; a daughter, Kaerafrid Najmi of San Fransisco; two granddaughters, Zeenia and Zara Najmi; nieces and nephews, Farida, Daddi, Patherusp, Kashmira and Hutoxi and many wonderful friends including, Kay Mooney, Deak and Mae Mackinnon, Joan Mcleod, the Martin Family, the Mahaney Family, the Melvin Family, the Cooper Family, the Nanavatti Family, the Bouchard Family, the Khan Family and Yasmin Sarfala. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by his siblings, Dorab, Jimmy, Nariman and Sylla Naegamvala.

He was born in Mumbai, India son of the late Framroze and Goolamai (Ghadiyali) Naegamvala. Mr. Naegamvala received all of his education in India and had been employed in the Indian Foreign Service.

Minoo enjoyed reading, writing poetry, movies and playing cards.

Funeral services for Mr. Naegamvala will be private. Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91Central Street, Auburn is assisting the Naegamvala family with arrangements.
