Horgan Arena was the place to be last weekend as members of the Cat Fanciers’ Federation gathered to look at a broad representation of breeds, examine numerous products, and participate in judging. Based on the numbers of ribbons on the feline cages, some of the attendees do this often.

BV•CATS, INC. was on hand with several cats awaiting adoption, and only one remained without a home by midafternoon on Sunday. They have their rescued cats regularly available at PetSmart in Bellingham, MA and North Smithfield, RI.

The Maine Coon Cats were certainly a hit at this show, and Sir Braeburn shown above is no exception. At a year and half, he already weighs a solid 16 pounds and will likely top out at 25 pounds. He earned second Best of Breed on Sunday.

Sir Braeburn is already a champion and has sired 2 litters with his handsome red coloring. He is owned by Beverly Day of Waterville, ME.

When this show comes back to town, try to visit. The sights and purrs were exceptional.
