Pats Take The Sting Out of Storm
The New England Patriots won Super Bowl XLIX 28-24 over the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.
In a wild finish that featured Seattle Quarterback Russell Wilson in the 2 minute drill, hitting a 31 yard strike before the 2 minute warning, followed by a most improbably juggling (bumbling?) catch by Seattle’s Jermaine Kearse, the Pats’ Malcolm Butler snared an interception on the goal line with 20 seconds to play to finish the ‘Hawks.
At least we’ll have some rejoicing to do as we clear out tomorrow’s snow. Somehow, it’s hard to get too upset about a foot of snow a week after Auburn’s 36″ wallop and a mere hours after hour 4th Super Bowl championship!
