It started on Friday night when Millbury came to town to face boys basketball. The Woolies appeared intent to revenge a loss back in the second week of the season, and they brought a good game with them.

Although the Rockets led at the end of the first three quarters, it took three overtimes to finish the fourth as Auburn prevailed 96-93. Auburn Mass Daily will have a complete story and slide show tomorrow.

On Saturday afternoon, boys indoor track captured the Central District Division 2 Championship after a great meet at Fitchburg High School. Girls indoor track, which recently captured the SWCL title, came in fourth. Race results to follow.

Girls hockey had their senior night on Saturday before playing their last home game of the season. They defeated Oakmont 8-0, which makes them 6-10 with three away games left. A complete story and slide show is coming.

Boys hockey lost on the road to Longmeadow 4-2. They have 2 home and 2 away games left over the next 2 weeks.

Girls basketball lost to Pittsfield 53-29 on Saturday out in the Berkshires. The girls are now 12-4 and have three games left before heading into the playoffs.

To cap off the weekend, boys basketball bested Grafton on Sunday afternoon 54-44. The Rockets lost to the Indians 62-42 during the season opener for both teams.
