Friends and family of Hannah Cherry are organizing a paint night fundraiser for the AHS student.
Hannah, a freshman at Auburn High, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in November. She has had to have a kidney removed, and is undergoing chemotherapy for spots on her lung. Hannah will need to undergo radiation treatments, as well.
While Hannah undergoes treatment, her mother is on unpaid medical leave from her job. To assist the family with these expenses, there will be a paint night at the Auburn Middle School on Friday, January 16 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
Tickets are $25 cash, or by check made out to Vanessa Mahoney. You may pay at the door, but reservations are strongly suggested. You can register by e-mailing Mahoney at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Paint night seats will be reserved for the first 100 people to register and provide payment. First come, first served!
Refreshments will be served. There will be tickets available for raffle baskets and there will also be a silent auction.
For those wishing to assist the family, but unable to attend the paint night, there is also a Giveforward page set up called Hugs for Hannah at https://www.giveforward.com/fundraiser/kfm6.
