The Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub announced that $547,000 was raised for 65 local chapters of the Boys & Girls Clubs throughout New England and New York in the month of October during the restaurant’s annual Boys & Girls Club Fundraiser. 2014 marks the 18th year of service and partnership with the organization, and yet another company-wide fundraising milestone.
Funds were raised by Ninety Nine guests the following ways:
• $1 donated from the purchase of Boys & Girls Club menu specials
• Purchasing a commemorative bracelet for $5
• Adding $1, $3, $5 or more to the guest’s check
All funds are being donated to the local Boys & Girls Club chapters.
The Boys & Girls Club of America is the oldest and largest organization with a primary mission of service to youth, and each Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub has a very meaningful and long-standing relationship with their local Boys & Girls Club chapter.
“Our service and dedication to the local community is one of the most impressive things about our company in my opinion,” said Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub President Charlie Noyes. “Each October, our team members and guests blow me away with their impressive efforts to raise money for the youth of the Boys & Girls Club chapters in the communities where our restaurants are located.”
The Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub is New England’s first locally-based casual restaurant chain, established in 1952 at 99 State Street in Boston.
Headquartered in Woburn, Mass., the Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub currently operates 104 restaurants throughout New England and upstate New York, including at the intersection of Rt. 12 and 20 in Auburn.
