The Auburn Public Library announces that they are ready to open their doors once again to full service and full hours. Come and join staff and patrons on Monday, November 17th starting at 9:30am when they welcome the community back to the library.

LLibrary hours are Monday – Thursday 9:30-8:30, Friday 9:30-5:30 and Saturday 9-1.

Library staff  would also like to thank everyone who helped with the renovation.  “We couldn’t have done it with out all of our volunteers, staff, trustees, Pre-release Teams, DPW, IT department, Auburn Library Friends, Police and Fire Department” said library director Carolann MacMaster.

The library has two great events happening next week.

On Tuesday, November 18 at 6:30pm Wendy Johnston will talk about her experience hiking both the Pacific Crest Trail and the Appalachian Trail. Join us for a powerful talk focused on the lessons that she learned and the obstacles she overcame on her 5 months on the PCT, as well as a visual representation of her journey through photos taken along the way. A question and answer session will follow. It is Wendy’s hope that you will leave inspired and encouraged to follow your own dreams.

On Wednesday, November 19, there will be a family magic show presented by Ed Popielarczyk.  Fun for kids of all ages. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
