Filled with clever one-liners, the play was a huge success on Broadway when it opened in 1939 with Katharine Hepburn playing the lead. It went on to the silver screen, again starring Hepburn, along with Cary Grant and James Stewart.

This is the opening play of Stageloft’s 2015 Season. The Philadelphia Story will be directed by Dave Glanville and has roles for 9 men and 6 women.
