AUBURN-Victor G. Naleski, 91, of Auburn, MA, died on Saturday, May 31, 2014 surrounded by family at his home at 420 South Street, Auburn, MA. Victor was born July 4, 1922, in Holden, MA to Walter and Mary Naleski.
Victor was married to Margaret (McGurn) Naleski for 65 years. He is survived by his three sons, daughter-laws and daughters: Victor and Janet Naleski of West Harford, CT, David and Rose Naleski of Southold, NY, Stephan Naleski of Auburn, MA, Joanne (Gering) Naleski of Rehoboth, MA and Ann (Henry) Naleski of Hope, RI and 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brothers Chester, Edward and his sister Viola.
Victor was a truck driver and a farmer and was known for his hard work and compassion to all. He was very strong physically and was also strong in his convictions. He did what needed to be done, in season and out, in good times, and bad times, when he felt good, and when he was exhausted. He did not complain. When he was asked how he was doing the answer was always the same,”can’t complain”.
Calling hours for Victor will be on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn. His funeral will be from the funeral home on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 with a funeral Mass celebrated at 10 AM in North American Martyr’s Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, 65 Central Street, Auburn, MA.
