BOSTON – On Friday, April 4, Representative Paul K. Frost (R-Auburn) met Auburn High School students Jaimee Martin and Sarah Gardner at the State
House for the 67th annual Student Government Day. Pictured here with the Representative and Auburn teachers Spencer Kennard and Vincent Benacchio, Jaimee and Sarah joined other students from across the commonwealth for a simulated hearing on current legislation, which was followed by a simulated Joint Session in the House Chamber.
Frost commented, “I was very pleased to meet up with Jaimee and Sarah at this year’s Student Government Day. This is a great opportunity for students to experience the legislative process in Massachusetts that they have learned about in the classroom. I hope they left not only informed, but inspired to step up as the future leaders of our great state. Both Jaimee and Sarah have been very involved in the community, where I have met them before in their coaching of Auburn Youth Basketball. I wish them both all the best in their futures and hope they remain involved and active young adults.”
