The Auburn Cultural Council, part of the Massachusetts Cultural Council hosts their fifth annual Art Show and Sale, “Art for the Arts”, Saturday April 26.

Several additions have been made to the show in recent weeks.  Lynn Robinson, a council member, will be demonstrating ‘easy origami’ at 11am and 2 pm. Visitors to the art show are invited to try their hand at trying this interesting art.

Also, at noon there will be a visit from one of this year’s recipients of Cultural Council grants. Scott Jamison, magician and juggler, will be demonstrating  his juggling talents and will choose a small group of volunteers to try the art of juggling!

The show features over 30 local artists’ works, many of which will be for sale.  Visitors will be asked to vote for their favorite picture or photograph and prizes will be awarded.  A welcome addition to the show this year is a group of Auburn High School artists who will be entering several art works.

The show will be held Saturday April 26, from 10am-4pm at the Pakachoag Church, 203 Pakachoag St., Auburn MA.  The show is free and open to the public.
