Nine schools showed up last Wednesday for the SWCL Dual Meet #4 – West indoor track competition. The boys and girls teams each faced five opponents, and solid victories were recorded in each contest.

Points are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in ten events, but totals are calculated against a specific school and how the 1,2,3 played out between Auburn and that school. The results:

Girls:

Auburn        83.00            Bartlett                   3.00

Auburn        85.00            Hyde Prep              0.00

Auburn        59.00            Millbury                 27.00

Auburn        84.50            Southbridge           0.50

Auburn        71.00            Woodstock             14.00

Boys:

Auburn        49.00            Bartlett                   37.00

Auburn        71.00            Hyde Prep              15.00

Auburn        78.50            Millbury                 7.50

Auburn        82.50            Southbridge           2.50

Auburn        57.00            Woodstock             28.00

No competing school earned as many points as Auburn for a single school to school meet, 85.00 for the girls and 82.50 for the boys. This is good news for the Rockets as they move forward. The overall event results also looked good for Auburn (listed up to 10th place):
