When I got home on Thursday afternoon, The Davey Tree Expert Company  inspectors were coming out of my yard, having examined the five trees. The perimeter had been changed and now went well beyond my house. Their work will include the wooded area around the Boyce St. Park as well. This is good.

DAVEY had about 60 inspectors on the ground doing these surveys, and thus far Auburn looks safe. Where they go from day to day is under the direction of the USDA, so my backyard was probably in the plan all along. About 8 acres are left in this year’s survey. Again, nice people doing an important job.
